Thank you for visiting my Resume and C.V. site!
Background:
I am employed as both a Civil Engineer (Project Manager) and as the IT Manager for a mid (80+ employee) Civil Engineering firm in San Antonio, TX. My day-to-day engineering tasks include the following:
- Drainage Reports (Stormwater Management Plans)
- Floodplain Delineations
- FEMA CLOMR/LOMR (Conditional Letter of Map Revisions) Submittals
- Elevation Certificates
- Lift Station Review and Design
- Mentoring
My IT Manager hat entails everything that is necessary to run a 60-node network running Windows XP, Windows 2003 R2 Servers, Exchange 2007, and SQL Server 2005. In addition, our two person team also maintains all of the hardware including system builds when necessary.
I was designated a Microsoft MVP for Windows Networking between 2001 to 2006. My status was discontinued due to a lack of time caused by explosive growth in our company. I am also a Microsoft Certified Professional.
My experience includes both Windows, Mac, and Linux/BSD boxes. I built and maintain the spam filtering system at our office based on a Centos 4 solution and our firewall/gateway device is based on open-source software.
